I have a terrible cold this 3 days. So I can’t go to my studio and
have to come down into the bed or be sitting in the foggy head.
I have worked without stopping for a few months, I think that I might be tired.
Ok, This is a destiny. I’ll create something new at the home!

<Tadasu Takamine “Too see to far” exhibition poster>

「とおくてみえない」too far to see展

I’d like to say some miscellaneous impressions
before writing about my exhibition’s information.
After this great earthquake, I couldn’t see my right way for a while.
Because My mind and situation were in confusion by this huge tragic reality
and I was not sure whether I should have an exhibition or not.
Then, I went to see the exhibition of Tadasu Takamine
“Too far to see”
He is a contemporary artist and a stage director.
He makes his art works under the theme of the absurdity of society,
and is using two- and three-dimensions ,video and the installation using all his technique.
When I saw his works I got the strong power from him.
I was overwhelmed ,and sometimes smiled, and enjoyed his presentations.
For a time, I completely forgot about the earthquake disaster and
my chaotic mind about it.
I entered into another dimension and was released from reality.
And I knew that’s the answer.

Over a long period of history, even if all conflicts and disasters happened,
we haven’t ever heard that what is called the Art (call it paintings or musics)
had disappeared in this world.
Aside from a silly tale that whether my works deserve it or not,
if it is my job, I have only to move through my way with conviction.
In front of Tadasu Takamine’s art works, I learned anew that called
the art has a certain power that it has each meanings for each receiver.
He have given me great courage.

Well…so,I have to go soon…
However I can’t move today, I have no choice but to keep still like a monk.
Maybe I think later that this article is so gloomy! because of my sickness.
