フランスで開催されるJapan Expoに展示する絵手紙を送りました。
銅版画でつくったのでいわゆる最近の絵手紙と言うよりはちょっと古めかしい感じに。
画面に直接短歌を筆で書いてみました。
せっかくの絵手紙なので和モードで。和な感じもまた楽し。

I sent “etegami” to France for Japan Expo.
I made it by etching. So it’s older style than recent etegami style.
I wrote here Japanese poetry.

短歌を入れました。
正直言ってかなりのシロウトなので、おかしな点が多々あるかと
思いますが下記のような感じです。

曙の
はちすの海を
行く舟や
面影のせて
風にたなびく

＜the meaning of the poem＞

In the dawn,
A boat is crossing on the lotus sea.
It’s flowing in the breeze
with a nostalgic person on board.

ちょっとここのところPC上の問題で写真をピクチャーホルダーに保存できない状態が
つづいており、アップが滞っておりました。直す方法がみつからないので、
iPhotoから直接アップにトライしてみました。うまく出来たみたいです。
それにしても・・治らないと色々と不便なのですが・・。

I had a problem with my PC recently, so I couldn’t upload my photos on my blog.
Even now, it’s still continuing in trouble. And I directly tried to upload from iPhoto.
It seems to have worked. However…I have to find a way to fix.

今日から工房の展覧会「ZABOHOUSE21thExhibiton」が始まります。

I placed my 3 etching on this exhibition this time.
I will stay in the gallery at “the opening party at 5:00pm tonight”,
and “from 11:00am to 16:00pm on 24th (Friday)”.
