オランダ在住のアーティスト、スザンヌ・ノリスさんとのMUJIノート交換日記
プロジェクトの7回目のレポート、part1です。
The 7th report PART1, Amsterdam↔Tokyo notebook project with Suzanne Norrise who is an artist and living in Amsterdam.

今回は二回に分けてまずはスザンヌのページをアップします。
I will introduce Suzanne page in part 1 first.

前回の私のページはフクロウが飛ぶ深い森でした。
My previous page was the deep forest owls are flying.

果たして、スザンヌの次の空白のページには何が描かれているんでしょう。
いつもこの瞬間がワクワクして幸せでたまらない私です。
Well, What’s happening in Suzanne’s next blank page.
I always love this exciting moment that I turn next page!!

畳まれた紙を広げるとそこに現れたのは凛々しい目をしたフクロウでした。
アーティストでもありデザイナーでもあるスザンヌらしい作品です。
A sharp‐eyed heroic owl appeared there when I spread some scraps of papers.
This work is so Suzanne who is an artist and a designer.

スザンヌは私が描いた森の守護者を描きたかったと言っています。
本当はとてもフレンドリーなこのフクロウ（彼女とスザンヌは書いているので女性ですよ）の
頑固そうな風貌は、森とそこに生きるものたちを脅かすあらゆるものから守るという彼女の内面の強い意思の現れでなのです。

Suzanne wrote in her blog that she wanted to create a protector of the forest I made on previous page.
This regal-looking owl is actually quite friendly, flinty-eyed look manifests her strong resolve to protect the forest.
The following text is a quotation from Suzanne’s blog
“She looks rather flinty, but she’s really quite friendly. That’s just the outward manifestation of her resolute determination to protect all those that call the forest home from all those that would cut down, kill, consume & catalogue.”

彼女の瞳は暗闇の中のどんな変化も見逃しません。
そう、スザンヌはフクロウの瞳に蛍光塗料を塗っていたのです。
私のカメラではその柔らかな光をとらえることができなかったので、
スザンヌが撮った写真をアップします（承諾は得てます）

The owl eyes grasps any ominous changes in the darkness.
Well, Suzanne painted fluorescent coating on her eyes.
My poor camera couldn’t catch up the glow light,
I shared this photo taken by Suzanne.

この美しいフクロウがノートブックの開いた1ページなんてちょっと信じられないですよね。
I can’t believe this beautiful owl’s pichture is A double pages of notebook!

個展も始まって早、５日目となりました。
連日たくさんの皆様に足をお運びいただき、とても幸せな日々です。

I can’t believe that it’s already been 5days already.
I’m spending grateful and happy days to see many friends, acquaintances and new customers at the gallery.

作家在廊予定を遅くなりましたが、お知らせいたします。
本日は工房にて刷り増しなどしてまいりますので不在にいたします。
日程が都合により変更になる場合がございます。
その際はまたこちらで改めてご案内させていただたいと思います。
