＜Shidare sakura＞

＜Someiyoshino＞

今年も桜が美しく咲きました。
なんといっても今年は寒かった冬のお陰でいつもなら先に終わってしまう
枝垂桜とソメイヨシノが同時に咲いていて、ひと際華やかでした。
うららかな暖かい満開の月曜日、いろいろと最高多忙な日々なのですが、
どうしても桜を見ずにはおれないと、近所の駒場東大をお花見散策しました。

＜Someiyoshino＞

This year’s cherry trees were more beautiful than usual, because we
could enjoy different type of cherry blossoms at the same time.
One is called Shidare Sakura, and another is called Someiyoshino.
Usually, Shidare Sakuras finish earlier flowering season than Someiyoshino,
However this winter was so long and cold, as a result, 2 different type sakuras
started to bloom at the same time.

＜Shidare sakura＞

I know I’m so busy, but I couldn’t help myself to see the cherry blossoms,
and I enjoyed flowers in full bloom with my neighbor studio friend at our neighbor
University campus.:-)

＜Someiyoshino＞

途中から超ご近所の同じ工房のHちゃんを呼び出して、しばし二人で
桜の下のベンチでおしゃべりしました。
癒しのひとときでかなりのエネルギーチャージできました。
やっぱりどんなに忙しくてもこういう時間は必要だなぁ。

It was a perfect day for sawing cherry blossoms, it was warm and full bloom.
I could recharge myself!!

５月の４日からは伊東屋さんで個展です。
