＜My picture notobook work this time＞

MUJIノート交換日記プロジェクトの３回目のレポートです。

The third report of Amsterdam↔Tokyo note project with Suzanne Norrise who is an artist and living in Amsterdam.

前回スザンヌが創ってくれた美しい葉っぱの切り絵のページ。
last time, Suzanne created a beautiful leaves paper cutouts page and I tuned its page…
その裏側をめくるとこんな感じ。さて今回はこのページにどんな絵を描こうかな・・。
The reverse side of the page was like this….
well what do I create on this page….
出来上がりがいきなり浮かぶわけでもなく少しずつイメージを固めてゆきました。
最初に浮かんだのはカラス。コラージュすることにしました。
まずマチーエールを作り、そこには何がある？・・そんな風に浮かぶものを描いてゆきました。
I have no perfect image of finished picture from the beginning. I was making it up gradually.
First, a crow came into my mind…after that I started to paint something that came to my mind.
そして仕上がったのがトップの画像、和な感じの渋めの絵が仕上がりました。
そう私には大きな満月に見えたのです。下地の和紙のような紙も和風なインスピレーションの素になりました。
こんな風にお互いにコラボレーションするのもこの私達の絵日記プロジェクトの大きな楽しみの一つ。(^_^
And I finished up the top attached picture. So I painted a Japanese-inspired picture this time.
I felt a big full moon was there, at the same time I was inspired by base paper like Japanese paper.
Collaboration is a one of big pleasures in our picture book project like this! 🙂

そしてもう一冊のノートがスザンヌから届きました。
そこは冬の森。大きな満月が沈みかけていて、
一匹のオオカミがカラスに気づいたかのように振り返っています。
美しい青く深い北のヨーロッパの森のイメージが浮かびました。
After a while, I received another notebook from Suzanne.
The winter forest was there.
The big full moon is setting, a wolf was looking over his shoulder as if
he became aware of the existence of a crow.
I had an image of beautiful blue deep north forest of Europe.
２つを並べてみました。
I arranged 2 pictures to show off.
なぜ二冊私の手元に？・・そうです次なる絵を多忙を理由にグズグズとまだ仕上げてない私。
私が送る前にスザンヌの新しい絵日記が届いたのです。いつも遅い私・・・(^_^;;
「No rule」「No pressure」よ。といつも言ってくれるスザンヌなのでした。
Why I have 2 notebooks?…well I don’t send my next notebook yet.
So I received the latest Suzanne’s work….I’m always slow-up.
And she always say me sweetly “don’t worry Yoko, It’s “No rule”, “No pressure”.
