昨日よりのギャラリーハウスマヤでの企画展に参加しております。
I’m participating the special exhibition for “Good Luck Charms” by 40artist at Gallery House Maya from 14th Dec. to 23th Dce.
昨夜はオープニングパーティーでした。私は別件と重なったこともあり短い参加でしが、顔見知りの作家さんも多く、縁起物に満ちた会場はかなりの盛り上がりでした。

ラッキーチャームがテーマのこの企画展、私は主にヨーロッパ各地のラッキーチャームを作品の中に散りばめてみました。
タイトルは”16charms”文字通り１６のアイテムとそして・・
こっそり隠れアイテムが他に一つ。見つけた方は幸せになれるかも？
My etching work’s has 16 charms.
And additionally I drew 17th item in my etching secretly, if you find it, you maybe got a lucky break?
16charms は以下のとおり。
Here is 16 charms
16 charms
1. 生命の樹 … 様々なパワーと全ての生命の源、永遠の命の象徴（古代ケルト）
2. 三日月 … 物事の始まりを意味し見ると幸運に恵まれる。豊饒のシンボル（ケルト）
3. フクロウ … 闇を見通す眼を持ち未来の事柄を予言する神秘の知恵を持つ（ヨーロッパ）
4. カタツムリ… 殻の螺旋模様は不思議な力が宿るとされ、復活のシンボル。（ドイツ他）
5. ユニコーン… 角には毒を清める作用があり魔除けとされる。純潔の象徴（ケルト）
6. どんぐり … 長寿、不死の象徴である樫の木の実で、永遠の若さを保つ象徴。魔除け（北欧）
7. ヤドリギ … 世界を穏やかにする。魔力を秘めていると考えられ病気治癒があるとされる。
ヤドリギの下でキスをすると将来幸せになると言われている。（ケルト）
8. オリーブの小枝…平和のシンボル。身につけていると悪霊を祓ってくれる。（南ヨーロッパ）
9. バラ … 愛の女神誕生を祝う愛のシンボル（ヨーロッパ）楽園を囲み守る花（ケルト）
10. ワイルドストロベリー…尊重と愛情、清浄と無邪気さの象徴。幸運を呼ぶ（ヨーロッパ）
11. スズラン … スズランを贈られた人は幸運になる。愛する人の幸せを願う花（フランス）
12. ベニテングタケ…幸福のシンボル。森の自然と美の象徴。年の変わり目にモチーフを贈る（ドイツ他）
13. ケシ … 不思議な力をもつとされ、愛の強さがわかる花。（ヨーロッパ）
14. シャムロック…３は呪術的な意味を持つ特別な数字、三位一体になぞらえ神聖な植物（ケルト）
15. 妖精 … 誠実さと優しさをもって接すれば妖精は願いを叶えてくれる存在（ケルト）
16. 蜘蛛の巣 … 蜘蛛の巣を見ると大金に恵まれる。商売の成功を運んでくれる（イギリス、ドイツ他）
1. tree of life ..various powers and source of all of life, and symbol of eternal life (ancient Celt)
2. crescent moon..it means the beginning of everything, you can be happy when you see it. fertility symbol (Celt)
3. owl ..it can see through the darkness, and has the mysterious wisdom which foretells about the future (Europe)
4. snail..it’s regarded as the mysterious power dwells in spiral. symbol of regeneration (Germany etc.)
5. Unicorn..its hone can purify poison, so calls lucky charm. symbol of purity (Celt)
6. acorn..nut of oak which is symbol of longevity and immortality. symbol of keeping of one young (Northern Europe）
7. mistletoe..it brings peace to the world. it’s regarded as having magical power, and having healing properties.
if you kiss under the mistletoe, you will be happy in the future. (Celt)
8. olive branch..Symbol of the peace. it exorcises an evil spirit from you, if you have it.(South Europe)
9. rose .. symbol of Love celebrating the birth of love goddess(Europe),
the flowers that surrounds paradise and protects it.(Celt)
10. Wild Strawberry..symbol of respect and love, and purity and innocence. lucky charm (Europe)
11. lily of the valley..people who was given this flower. flower which desires happiness loved one (France)
12. fly agaric..Symbol of happiness. icon of nature and beauty of forest.(Germany etc.)
13. poppy..it’s regarded as the mysterious power, people can know the volumes for love.(Europe)
14. shamrock..3 is the special number which has magical meaning,
Shamrock which links the trinity calls holy plant links (Celt)
15. fairy .. beings fulfill your wish, if you treat them with honesty and kindness.(Celt)
16. spider’s web ..when you find it, you will have the good fortune of gaining a big windfall.
symbol of prosperous business(England, Germany etc)
