The 5th report of Amsterdam↔Tokyo note project with Suzanne Norrise who is an artist and living in Amsterdam.

今回の私のページは銅版画をモノクロで雁皮という和紙に刷った物とヨーロッパの古い切ってをコラージュしてみました。
色とりどりの葉っぱのような紙は以前スザンヌがノートと一緒に同封してきてくれた物、
白いアミノような模様は前のスザンヌのページに少し描き込みしたモチーフと同じものです。
古い切手と版画の持つ空気感とがうまく呼応して古びた雰囲気のページに仕上がりました。
This time, I collaged my monochrome etching works printed on Japanese thine paper called Ganpi（雁皮=Chine-collé) and old stamps on my MUJI note pages.
Colorful papers like leaves are materials which Suzanne enclosed with MUJI notebook for me before.
Patterns like white mesh is same motif which I drew on a previous Suzanne’s page.
Etchings Which have characteristic old-fashioned atmosphere and real old stamps resonate each other,
therefore it was done in an ancient mood.

今回のページはキノコキノコキノコ〜〜。色とりどりのキノコがいっぱい！でした。
中にはmourillosとなずけられた半分ネズミで半分アルマジロのスザンヌのユニークなオリジナルキャラクター
やカタツムリもいます。このキノコ達はほとんどがスザンヌのオリジナルキノコだそうで、
でもなんとなく毒ぽいキノコばかりのような、そんなところ私が描く物とやっぱり共通点があります。
Mushrooms! Mushrooms! Mushrooms~~~~~!!! All of page was full of various mushrooms!!
Snails and Suznne’s original character mourillos which was christened by a Suzanne’s friend for their resemblance to a cross between a mouse and a tiny armadillo were painted inside.
Most mushrooms were created by Suzanne, and um…(therefore) it looks poisonous…
So we have a lot in common though, I feel that loving poisonous taste is one of them.
今回のMUJIノートは夏にオランダに行った際に直接手渡ししてもらったもの。
ちょうど絵日記ノートが二冊スザンヌの家に到着していて、私がそこにいる。こんな機会まずないので二人で記念撮影をしました。
I received directly this MUJI picture notebook from Suzanne in Netherlands when I went to there last summer.
Just 2 MUJI notebooks arrived in her house, and I was there. We had a rare opportunity, so we took some commemorative photographs.
