昨夜、とあるイベントがありました。
ニールズヤードレメディーズという英国のオーガニックコスメの
会社のプレス新作発表会なのですが、ありがたいことに
この発表会のビジュアルとして作品を使っていただきました。
今日はそんな一夜限りのイベントの写真をアップします。

My art work “ASH” was used as for Press presentation of a new collection
of the Neal’s Yard Remedies Japan. It was one-night event in Omotesando
last night though, I was so exited.

自分の作品がここまで大きく引き延ばされたのを見るのは初めてです。
最初は拡大にたえられるのか・・少々不安でしたが、大丈夫だったようで
ほっと一安心。

It was the first time for me to see such a enlargement of my art work.
First, I had some anxiety about “enlargement”, but when I saw
the real thing, I was relieved.

デザイナーのOさんがすべて素敵にデザインしてくれました。
Mr. designer made everything wonderfully.

写真がないのですが、当日プレゼンテーションルームにては
一日個展と言う感じで作品を１６点程飾りました。
some my art works were hanged in presentation room as if it was my one-day exhibition.

ニールズヤードレメディーズのオーガニックに基づいた精神も
美しい青いボトルも素敵で本当に嬉しいお仕事でした。

I love Neal’s Yard Policy and beautiful blue bottles.
So, it was really happy job for me.

林陽子銅版画展 – ancient garden-は先週土曜日に無事
終了致しました。多くの皆様のご来場本当にありがとうございました。
個展後の感想などはまた別途書かせていただきます。

My exhibition ended. I’ll write about my exhibition’s impressions
next time. I’m deeply grateful for your coming.

個展ご案内の時のブログに触れさせていただきましたように、
今回、ポストカードの売上を東日本大震災の義援金
として寄付させていただくことにしました。

As I have already noted, this time, I sold my postcards
as donations for the Eastern Japan Great earthquake.
and a lot of people reacted by agreeing to this plan and bought my postcards!

たくさんの方がポストカードを購入して下さいました。
私も少しなのですが、寄付金を加えさせていただきました。

集まった義援金は
￥　５９，１００
にものぼりました。
ポストカードの単価はささやかなものですが、多くの方の気持ちが
集まった結果です。皆様のご協力、本当にありがとうございました。

昨日、無事搬入を終え、かなりホッとしました。
いよいよ今週月曜日から個展がはじまります。
ギャラリーハウスMAYAの皆様に素敵に展示していただきました。

I carried my works in the gallery yesterday.
Finally, my exhibition will start this Monday.
Gallery staffers displayed my works nicely.

並べるまでは作品が足りているだろうかと不安でしたが
ちょうどぴったりでした。こういう計算が何度個展を
やっても苦手です。

I was really relieved when I saw that my works were full
on the wall of the gallery.

なお、今回はとくにオープニングパーティーを予定してないのですが、
初日夕方頃お会いできましたらワインなどお出しするかもです♪

＜かなりきれい目に写しましたが本当は倉庫状態でした＞

今回は家で額装する絵も結構あったので、家での事前準備も
先週は佳境状態で一時倉庫のような状態になりました。

I framed some of my works by myself, so my room
became like a warehouse for a time.

＜Lindtのウサギチョコ。a rabbit chocolate made Lindt ＞

工房の友達のアンドーヒロミちゃんが工房で私の作品に似ている
というLindtのウサギのチョコを「がんばって」と言って
プレゼントしてくれました。
かわいすぎてもったいなくて食べれない！のでオブジェとして
かざっています。

My studio’s friend Hiromi gave me a rabbit chocolate
made Lindt, because it looks like my rabbit.
“Good luck on your exhibition!” she said. Thanks! Hiromi.
I never be able to eat this, because it’s too cute!

９月２０日より個展を銀座の伊東屋８階ミニギャラリーにて
個展を開催致します。
　
I’ll have my own exhibition at Gnza ITO-YA
from Sep. 20th mon. to Sep.30. Thu.

今回は過去の作品からセレクトしたものを中心に展示致します。
テーマmystic elementsは、作品を彩る神秘の森を創り上げる様々な
エレメンツである「水」「大気」「風」「大地」「光」「闇」
を表しています。
お時間ございましたら、ぜひお立ち寄り下さい。
あと、同８階版画コーナーにてもシートの作品を取り扱って
いただいてます。

会場には出来る限り在廊したいと思っております。

＜すっかり雨の季節ですね＞
＜It’s rainy season in Japan＞

梅雨独特の湿度の高いどんよりとしたすっきりしない日々だからこそ？
パッとしたニュースを。といっても自分の事ですが・・
We are in the middle of the rainy season.
So it’s hot, cloudy and humid weather everyday.
Therefore, I will tell the clear news.(it’s myself news though)

一つ目はタイトルにある銀座にてのニュース
The first news “at Ito-ya in Ginza”
銀座の伊東屋８Fフレームショップ＆ミニギャラリー
にて版画作品を取り扱っていただく事になりました。

Ito-ya started to sell my printing works.
Now, they have 22 my works of variety size.
And I will have the exhibition of my selected works
at Ito-ya Mini Gallery on the 8th floor
between Monday the 20th of September and 30th of September.
(For more exhibition information, I’ll tell later again.)

大きい物から手のひらサイズのものまで色々置いてます。

And another news in Cadaques, Spain

こちらはスペインのMINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUÉS
というミニ版画の公募展にてselected artistに選ばれました。
100x100mm以内の版画作品という規定のこの公募展、公募可能点数
の４点を出品しました。

I was chosen as the selected artists of the mini print competition
in ” MINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUES”.
The exhibition of selected artists make a tour from place to place
from the 26th of Jun. I sent 4 my works for this competition.
And I guess that all of the my works will be exhibited.

これから選ばれた作家たちの展覧会が各地４カ所巡回致します。
スペイン、CADAQUESにて６月２６日〜９月３０日まで
イギリス、WINGFIELDにて７月２６日〜８月１８日まで
フランス、BAGESにて１１月２７日〜2011,１月１６日まで
スペイン、PINADAの日程はまだ未定
おそらく、展示は４作品ともされるのだと思われます。

こちらはお近くにお立ちよりの・・とはいえない距離ですが、
外国の皆様の目に触れる機会があるということは何とも嬉しい
ことです。
カダケスについての知識といえばダリがよくその海辺を描いた
ということくらいしかなかった私ですが、芸術がさかんな都市のようです。
場所はフランス国境近くの北カタルーニャ地方。
山々に囲まれた海岸沿いの家は白く、今も昔の面影をとどめている
素敵な所のようです。

そんな私、スペイン、カダケスは行かずに、７月に
ベルギーはアントワープとオランダ、アムステルダムに旅行してきます。
数年ぶりの海外旅行です。美術館めぐりして栄養補充します。
会いたかった人に会える旅で今からとても楽しみです〜。

And I will go to Antwerp in Belgium and Amsterdam
in Netherlands in July.
I’ll see a variety of source of inspirations.
And I’ll meet a parson who I would like to meet very much
in Amsterdam I’m looking forward to it!.

カバーデザイン　パワーハウス

とてもきれいに印刷の色がでていて、銅版画のインクの
油膜もきれいに拾ってくれています。
紙質も版画に合うものをこだわって選んで下さったとの
ことで嬉しいです。

何度か目にされてるかもしれない絵です。
個展の時のDMに使った絵なのですが、それをみた
デザイナーの方がお仕事の依頼をしてくれました。
DMもやっぱり大事ですね・・とつくづく思うのでした。
